80% IDEAS & EFFORT. 20% DIVINE SUPPORT. THAT’S IT.

May we introduce ourselves?

The team behind PONA shares many traits with our drinks: a wild but well balanced mix. Take Michael, who has been longing for an alternative to Cokes and the like for ages. On his search in organic markets around the world, he has not found anything that both tastes and looks as good, or is in line with his slow-food mindset. Anna likes to call herself the “Organic Delegate”. She fell in love with refreshing organic drinks on a trip to the US, and has now quenched her yearning (and her thirst) in Austria by helping to develop PONA. Simone has been looking for a healthy and natural alternative to artificial juice especially for children and young people. Now she has found it. She cares about the charitable support of children by PONA in particular.

And last but not least there are Antonia and Marina, the passionate operational team assures the sustainable success of PONA, day by day, with great conviction.

The last person involved is also the most important one: Pomona.

GODDESS OF FRUIT

The name PONA is derived from Pomona, the goddess of fruit. She guards fruit which ripens on trees all over the world and gives us so much pleasure. Pomona takes special care of our farmers’ orange groves and apple gardens. Nothing makes her happier than sustainable organic farming.

A MEANS TO A HAPPY END

From the very beginning, it was clear to us that “refreshment” should not be the only purpose for PONA to serve. We all agreed: PONA should do good – especially for our children! Our quest for a suitable project did not didn’t take too long, and so we are happy to support the “Kinderhilfswerk”, an Austrian NGO dedicated to children, for improved therapy sessions.

On that note, you don’t even have to drink PONA to support the Kinderhilfswerk – you can also do it just as easily here kinderhilfswerk.
